Improving patient outcomes and accessibility using AI

In today’s healthcare landscape, a lot of effort is being made to make Electronic Health Records (EHRs) systems accessible across the vast group of healthcare space. MedTrack’s Health Information System’s (HIS) focus on the total health of the patient is harnessed to improve the lives and well-being of individuals especially vulnerable groups in Africa.

Accessing and managing patient healthcare data has become increasingly complex. The sheer volume of information can overwhelm clinicians and hinder productivity. We've explored how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance clinical practices, improve patient outcomes and reduce clinician cognitive load.

We are building on 3 levels

Health data overload

In low and middle-income communities, where doctor-to-patient ratios often exceed the WHO recommendation, navigation overburden can lead to decreased productivity, increased cognitive load, and potential errors in critical patient care.

Navigating through patient healthcare data poses significant challenges for clinicians. Recognizing the urgent need for a solution, we are focused on leveraging the capabilities of AI to facilitate the effective utilization of patient data within the MedTrack system.

Data analytics and forecast tracking
We could use natural language to uncover hidden patterns and trends in patient clinical data and provide accurate data-driven forecasts which can be tweaked in real-time.

Physician assistance and case audits
Advanced capabilities for physician assistance, running audits on specific disease profiling and diagnosis cases.
